I think it's a great resource for cancer patients. It provides a clean, safe and pleasantly decorated environment to live while receiving cancer treatment. There are rules such as nothing but water in rooms, which can be difficult if you are feeling too sick to go to the kitchen after chemo. There are many amazing organizations that donate time and supplies and make the experience so much nicer. There are computers and a printer available to use, which I found very helpful when my doctors needed medical records. There is a nice kitchen with everything you need to cook a nice meal. Overall it's amazing!

The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff are very kind and considerate. And the kitchen area is very large and accommodating to all residents. We were there for 4 weeks.

I just cannot believe that this place exists. This was such a beautiful place. My father‘s caseworkers social worker got us in here every time we needed to be here. The resident are all very friendly. Most of the staff is very kind. And on my last night, the night, that I checked out, I met Maxine. What an angel. there’s not many people that you come across these days that actually listen to hear you. Maxine engaged me in conversation that fed my soul. Truly nourished me. Thank you to the hope lodge and thank you to Maxine. Everyone remember: it only takes one person to change a life. Kindness and sincerity go a long long way.

The AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY HOPE LODGE has been a GOD send. Through 2 years of in and out of MDA they have been available. The location is close to the medical district in Houston with nice accommodation. People are family. The staff is comforting, friendly with a smile or hug. You get what you give. If you need to be alone to regroup there is a place for that. If you need to visit there are plenty of fine people going through similar circumstances in the kitchen area to converse with. My family loves HOPE LODGE.. We are thankful daily for the work they do.

This place is amazing! Clean, safe, with lots of very nice employees/volunteers. My family mber is staying here during her radiation and chemo treatments downtown and I cannot express how grateful we are that this place is here. Not only that everyone is going through something similar, so that means you can relate to others that are there.

My name is julie que - a cancer patient. I have been staying at hope lodge and i have to say that the people here are very helpful. I have never been here in houston, its my firt time and i am alone and nervous. Hope lodge take good care of me like family; all the personel have been very kind and caring. The amenities are top notch and the rooms are very clean. Its a very nice environment for healing.

What a wonderful place. We checked in at 11:30pm last night and Maxine was so nice, patient, and courteous. She walked us thru the entire facilities. Blessed to be here.
