I hate to criticize but am working an honest program. I'm new to the area so first time visiting. It felt unwelcoming and dingy and would sadly be off-putting to a newcomer unfamiliar with AA. I'm very surprised and disappointed this is the primary office for the entire desert area? I volunteered at Tulsa OK Central Service which also rented space in an old empty run-down strip mall, but inside was made bright and cheery and well-organized and friendly. A phone call came in which was impatiently handled and when I introduced myself trying to engage in conversation was barely acknowledged. I understand these are volunteers but a breath of fresh life (and maybe a slight woman's touch?) seems sorely needed to better provide newcomers a welcoming experience and serve the primary purpose. Gratitude to all Fellowship being of service.

*Update*
I kindly decline participation in investigations or consultations or Board of Director presentations. I was a visitor on Saturday 1/22 at 10:30am and left feedback, please do with it what you will. Best of luck and many thanks for this office's service.

AA saved my life once. My best time was 6.5 years.
I had a great life, more good things came my way because I was present for my life, and life IS in session !
I stopped going, and eventually drank again.
Today, I have 3 days clean and sober, and I plan on being at one of AA's meeting places today, and every day, One Day At A Time !
I highly recommend it to anyone else who might want to change their lives !
