I can't tell you how disappointed I am in Habitat's Vehicle Donation Program. I donated a 2001 Cadillac Deville in excellent condition with only 50k miles. Blue book said $3200-3800. They sold it (gave it away) for $1100. I feel totally ripped off. Do not think you will get fair market value for your donations. The firm Habitat uses to sell their donated vehicles works with wholesale dealers...they're the ones to benefit the most from donations, not Habitat or their donors. My suggestion: never donate a car to Habitat for Humanity if you expect to receive a receipt for a fair market value charitable donation. So out of what I thought would be a nice $3500 donation to Habitat, I found out they will only get about $900...the rest went to others benefiting from donor generosity. Too bad.

I waited to donate for an hour, at the location I was sent to by the directions online. They wanted me to wait another half hour to donate. They would not take it & send me a receipt in the mail. I work nights & had been up & stayed awake longer & drove out of my way. Iā€™m not sure I would take the time to do it again.

This is NOT the donation location or the store, it's the corporate administrative office. Nice people.
