In my opinion the splash pad here is better than the ones in Rhicard Hills and at Thompson park. I love that the community centers have the indoor play areas with visibility through plexi-glass from the gym. Great to work out while keeping your eye on children. There is an outdoor playground as well.

So, everyone on Facebook advertise their stuff to be picked up for free etc. less than 12 hrs of putting two items out I got a called saying I can’t have them there. Driving around, everyone doing it no problem. I reported my dish washer leaking 4 times, they came over and over eventually changing it out and to this date It is still leaks underneath.

Visited the splash pad. I loved how the water was on a timer. The water didn't run all day with no one playing in it. Simply had to go over and push a button to turn it back on. Also, liked how the water rotated pressure around the variety of water "outlets". Went inside to visit the indoor play area. A nice play place for the grandkids. There was also a nice size playset outside. For the bigger kids, there was a skate park. The bathrooms were clean, spacious, and stocked. The only downfall was that the picnic tables needed a little work done on them. Will definitely be going back again soon.

I'M REVIEWING THE GYM The gym is good. Its quiet, which I love. Some equipment is a little outdated, by which I mean the treadmills (iPhone 5 and later charging cord built in) But they still get the job done, so what does it matter. I really enjoy the yoga balls and weight system the most. I think they should bring in more free weights, possibly some jump rope, and different mats like yoga mats or similar. Recommend if you like a smaller quieter setting. Especially since it closes at 11pm.

When my family 1st moved here we were well aware that there was a couple of maintenance orders on our house still and one being the refrigerator door handle. Since then it has broken twice more times & all maintenance has done was do a sloppy glue job shown on thr photos. This time it sliced my palm of my hand & left scratches on me & my 7 yr daughter. At this point I'm not impressed with fort drum housing community homes. I'll spair the other complaints because the list is long. I just want to make future residents aware or anyone considering this location. They say the houses are renovated but stuff is constantly breaking thats not including the power outages but like I said the list can get lengthy. At this point might as well replace the entire refrigerator otherwise my opinion strongly stands.

Convenient computers and printer to print off documents if your printer doesn't work/you don't have one. The place is clean and the livingroom /gathering area is pretty and has a nice theme. There's an indoor kids play room,an outdoor playground and a water play place out back in the summer. The fitness center has 3 treadmills, two ellipticals and one big machine that has leg press, lat pull down and shoulder stuff. They also have a mat and work out balls in there. Not big, but can get the job done in a pinch.

Best community in my opinion for enlisted. Great maintenance crew. Recommend upstairs. You can hear upstairs neighbors is downside. I hear less upstairs vs being downstairs neighbors. Convenience worth the BAH in my opinion. Your experience honestly varies mostly by neighbors. Don’t be afraid to reject the first house. Our second was way nicer. (I think they try to give the less nice ones first). Expect about a month or less to get into a house here depending on bedroom need.
