Watch the tags… not all Christmas is 50% off. Nice and clean shop, well laid out, restrooms available. Has shopping carts. Nice music playing. Lived my visit here.

This place is getting ridiculous on their prices now that they have changed names. Use to shop and donate here but I think I would rather find someplace that is more fair with prices. I don't care what retail price is because it was donated so quit trying to get retail out of it period.

Walked in at 4:48, knowing the store closed at 5:00. I was informed when I entered that the store was closed. I showed the salesperson my phone with time and said “it’s not 5:00” and she said “I know, unless you have one thing you know you’re getting, we have a line and would like to get everyone done by then.” They just lost a regular customer who often spends $100 in a thrift store. I said “well, that’s too bad” and walked out. If hours say open until 5:00, then customers should be able to stay until 5:00. I was going to buy only Christmas items and would have been quick. And be done by 5:00. I drove 40 minutes (got lost on the way) to shop there. Very disappointed in how they value a possible paying customer. Now it’s 6 minutes until close and no customers are in the store but 4 employees are talking and one is waiting with her coat and purse, ready to walk out the door.

I was greeted with a “we are closing shortly” as I walked in at 4:40... no hello.. I said, I know. I actually was aware of that and I am a quick shopper, especially in thrift stores. I left before closing even occurred at 5:00. The rude lady who scolded me when I walked in was chatting with another customer about how 10 people walk in near closing and the customer said I understand, I’ve worked retail. How tacky... no goodbye either. My first visit was left with a terrible impression making me never want to come back.

This is the first time I donated to Bethesda. The young man who came out with a cart did not help me unload my boxes....he stood there and watched me. He never said a word. When I was finished, I said YOUR WELCOME. This did not give me a warm fuzzy!

They have a good variety of both clothing and non-clothing items; including kitchen, office, seasonal furniture, purses, linens, fabric and more. I love that they continue their senior citizen and color tag sales. It's not the biggest thrift store in the area, but they're doing a lot of things right. Note: They don't have a public restroom.

They have shortened their hours and I couldn't get there until after 4:00, at which point they wouldn't let me use the fitting rooms even though there was 30 minutes left. Definitely not good customer service and won't be returning.
