My year long time at the ministry helped me get my life together, stop substance use, restored my family but most importantly I found Jesus who saved my soul. I know without my time there I couldn’t stop using and I would have died leaving my parents, my siblings, my son and grandkids. Now I have purpose and a sisterhood that accepts me for me. If you know a lady that is broken tell her about this place. They can help!!!!

I struggled with drugs/alcohol since I was 14. I am now 40; I had been to 11 different rehabs, jail, hospitals. I have 3 boys that I lost due to my addiction. In 2019 I found myself homeless, I had burned every single bridge and my family was fed up and done with me; they would not even give me a ride to rehab at 3:17 because they didn’t think I would stay. Finally I made it to 317 and my life is forever changed. I found the love and support I’d been searching for my entire life. These people truly care, the Remmel church is like no other; they help the hurting without judgement. I am from Missouri 3 1/2 hours away. I graduated the year long program and stayed in Arkansas. I am coming up on 5 years of sobriety. I have a relationship with my boys and my youngest lives with me. I married a Godly man which we are very involved with 317 today. He is a contractor building houses for this ministry so more women like me can come and get their healing while I am in college to become a nurse. A year is a long time; but it’s nothing compared to the years of the hell and misery of addiction. I cannot say enough about John 3:17, the blessings are to many to count. I am forever grateful! If you are struggling please reach out! I’m here for you! John 3:17 is here for you! And most importantly Jesus loves you!

Amazing ministry! I met my wife thru this Ministry. She serves as staff and all of the staff starting with the director and the board are Christ centered and make it about Jesus and the women. It’s constantly growing and we are blessed to be part of it! If you know any woman struggling, this is the place for them to heal and meet our Lord.

I spent most of my life in addiction with no hope, chasing all the wrong things in life. I’m from Texas so I traveled the nine hours to get to J317 ministry in September 2020. At the ministry, I was introduced to my savior Jesus Christ. I learned how to live sober. I learned responsibility and values, I learned how to forgive myself and forgive others. I’ve been sober for four years in September and my life has never been better. If you’re struggling with life , Addiction to drugs or alcohol and you’re looking for a place to go, the people on staff at John317 have been through the program and have kindness and love in their heart. They treat women with grace and mercy. I know because I’m one of them ? J317 ministry is a safe haven for women to heal. If you’re struggling with addiction, we would love to help you. Please go to our website and fill out the application.

I came to John 3:17 the first time in November 2016 and lasted a week and left. I just wasn't ready. Then my sister gave me 2 options to go back or she would wash her hands of me. Plus I was physically, mentally, emotionally tired. So I took that journey one and final time from Indiana to Newport Arkansas.I graduated the program April 9, 2018. I am coming upon 3 Years Sober April 9, 2020. God knew I needed John 3:17 and the Remmel Church and so many others who are involved. Each person showed me so much love. It came from a sincere place. There are no words that can Express my gratitude for each person who is and was involved in John 3:17. They are my forever family and I love them dearly.

My wife went there a few days ago and was completely overwhelmed. They failed to mention they had 50 people. They wouldn't let her detox properly. Anything that's wrong they tell you to pray about it. It's depressing they shut you away from the world for 30 days. In order to leave you have to walk 5 miles to the nearest gas station they will not let you use a staff phone. The staff come in high. Even if they've relapsed they coke to work. They only hire resident's who have been there and there's so much drama I don't recommend this place.
