Never been to this actual shelter, I am from North eastern Wisconsin. I recently adopted a beautiful dog that originated from this shelter. Just wanted to say thanks for shipping her to Green Bay WI. "Lola", "magena" was her shelter name. She is in a loving forever home in the North.

I just wanted to give this location a huge shout out! I’m from WI and adopted my little senior girl from the humane society around here as she was transported up here. I had to put her down last month and I was extremely curious about where she came from. I found this location listed on her records and I decided to reach out not expecting too much. I received an email response back from Kelly about my little lady and her picture from when she was surrendered as well! I was amazed and Kelly was so sweet and seemed to genuinely care. What an awesome location!

I juat got my dog sugar yesterday, i haven't brought her home yet because she needs to be spayed first but she is so cute and healthy. I will be changing her name to rose because she is as beautiful as a rose bud.

They were very friendly even though they said no they couldn't help me place 4 puppies that was dropped off at my home. I already own 7 dogs and 2 cats I can't afford to keep them and having trouble feeding them. They were very nice while telling me no.

I sadly had to bring two puppies there that I rescued and just did not have the ability to care for them. I cried like a dummy but the lady was so nice and said I could call and check on the puppies any time I wanted to. I love this place so much. They are so great with all of the animals and I can really tell they love them and spoil them! The next time I'm ready for a pet they will be where I'm going to get one!

Super rude. I walked in looking to volunteer since I'll be in the area for a bit and I try to volunteer at the local shelters when I'm in an area. When I walked in the door there were 3 volunteers standing around, nobody greeted me or asked me what I needed for like 3 minutes. Finally I just told them I was in the area for 3 weeks and wanted to help out with their cats. They were being super weird about it, treating me like I was a psycho, and wouldn't give me the waiver to sign. Then they told me their cat room is "actually shut down for about 3 weeks for preventing the spread of infection". I asked them what was going around since I volunteer at other shelters and am familiar with the diseases that go around (but has been over a week since I was last in a shelter, so I can't be carrying anything currently). They told me "nothing right now, we're just trying to avoid anything from coming in". So, basically they're telling me in a passive aggressive way that they don't want me to volunteer because they think I'm going to spread diseases to their cats. But nobody said anything to me directly, it was all very bizarre and rude. Then they took my number and told me the shelter manager would call me, and she never did. I sincerely hope they treat their animals better than they treat the people who try to help out.

Friendly people that had my rescue ready and waiting for me. I love no kill shelters and I am proud to adopt a rescue dog. The facilities were neat, clean and organized. I love my new fur baby and happily working with her to get over her trauma.

Drove 6 hours to adopt a little Schnauzer who had been turned over to the Humane Society by a breeder. The staff at this place really cares about these animals and are kind and helpful. Worth the drive.
