I’m not sure why they need a lot of information just to give out free food. I’m a family of 7 and they have 2 sections that only give one item, how is one item going to feed my family of 7 for a whole month? To top it off they have their food expired. So it goes in the trash when I get home. I spent almost 3 hours to wait on expired food great!!!!

Absolutely love this place! All of the volunteers and staff are always so friendly. My daughter recently started going to the Run Youth program for teens and totally loves it. We also go to the pantry once a month. Love that you get to select your own items. They also now have a small clothing shop area where you can get household items and clothes for free. Would be a great place to donate to if you’re wanting to help others.

It is managed terrible, got there at 130 was told there would only be an hour wait ended up leaving at 240 and still 30npeople ahead of me. The staff was cold, campus and smug. If they are going to do intake like that they need to have more staff on hand to move people through quickly had to be to work and couldn't sit here another hour. Sad management and organizational procedures. They processed people faster during covid than they do now. Only two or 3 intake workers for over 100+ people. Somebody needs to teach them time management skills. I have been to other pantries who are about the same si,e and they are efficient in processing people. They need to take into consideration, elderly, disabled and people w anxiety and prsd. Both of which were set off because of lack of organizational skills and efficiency. I also forgot to mention that people were NOT WATCHING TĤEIR KIDS and the kids were bothering people there and nothing was said. Guess it is also now a daycare w no rules, or consequences for people not supervising their kids. I might try the Millard location but this location needs a serious staff overhaul, and caring employees.

The people from Heartland Hope Mission are amazing individuals. This holiday season, like many others, didn't have much to work with. They have a wonderful programs for the holidays to help families in need. They go above and beyond from your holiday feast, including gifts for the kids. Best part about it is that they cover kids up to 17 yrs of age. I remember from when I was younger, places only covered up to age of 12ish and there wasn't much to choose from unless they were like early grade school age. You were lucky to cover stocking stuffs and maybe a barbie doll. Compared to now, they had smart watches, cell phone and tablet accessories, make up, beauty accessories, art supplies, exercise accessories(yoga mats, weight lifting gloves, boxing bag, and more), fancy stationary and much more then I could remember. They even insisted to carry everything out to the vehicle. They were so kind and welcoming. Didn't feel looked down on, judged or anything. I plan on looking into their pantries, too. And would most definitely recommend anyone and everyone in need to go to Heartland Hope Mission.

This place is amazing! We were given so much food that we were able to share with 2 other families in our building. We still have enough for a couple weeks ourselves. The pantry had received extra donations so on this saturday everyone benefited. Not always giving out so much but not unusual either. I Highly recommend Heartland Hope if in need. Awesome people!
