I am currently spending a few months at this facility for my arthroscopy that requires skilled care. It daily brings back memories from my previous stay, with a broken back, 10 years ago at this same facility. During my first stay, I felt like I was on vacation and didn’t have to concern myself with any of the medical concerns. I found the staffing to be professional, dedicated, and knowledgeable. Never once did I have a problem with my stay here at this facility. I found it has even improved since coming here for the second stay. I think the bottom line to their success is that they care, really care. I would trust them with my family members if it was required for them to stay here. The staff works hard and becomes like family before you return home. In my opinion, Harmony Cedar Rapids, has earned my trust forever.

Harmony CR has been home for me approximately one year. My decision for long term living is based on the fact that all my needs met here; kind care, careful medical attention, nutritional meals, engaging activities and staff that is interested in our well being and an opportunity to offer input on changes or additional modifications.

This is one of the better nursing rehab centers in my opinion. The staff is amazing, PT and OT, is by far one of the best. And when it comes to being a clean center I would give it five stars.And the activities at the home gives you something to keep you busy. Or live music to just set back and relax to. I recommend Harmony to any family member or anyone considering go to a nursing home.

They are not worker family friendly. They will fire you at the drop of a hat. Even if you have doctors notes they will give you a point, 7 points and your out.

Harmony Cedar Rapids exceeded my expectations of what Nursing homes are supposed to be like. It was clean and well taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my medical and physical needs were taken care of. The therapists were great at assisting me with my recovery and answering questions. The nurse's were untiring in their care for me and were always uplifting in their attitudes. Even the kitchen staff did a wonderful job of preparing tasteful meals. If I ever need the services of a Nursing Facility, Harmony Cedar Rapids will be my first choice. Deborah R.

At the time I had stayed and that was 2016 I believe the staff was wonderful. One of my favorite wound nurses passed away of cancer. And I made plenty of friends some passed away and some still live there. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is my daughter workers there for over 6 months the residents loved her she took care of them like they were her family. But unfortunately the gal in charge of the house keeping asking grace on her fial break to take care of a room that Ida chose not to do. My daughter said to Val are we going to confront her on this tomorrow Val said yes and my daughter came in late and she asked Val if she called her out on it, Val said none of your business. She had some words left the room saying a few words. Filling her bucket to start cleaning rooms Ida came by my daughter standing her ground said why didn't u clean that room Ida said words standing her ground not moving were Ida kept to her and she kept telling her to stop moving into her space still not moving the girl did. Daughter was suspended until the AD called his manager and she was fired. The place use to have impeccable house keeping unfortunately I will not be going back there.😕😕😕😕😕😕
