When I called to ask if they took dogs in an emergent situation (literal parent death AND i said this when explaining), they said they only took cats. Perfectly fine. When they suggested AWSOM, I said "oh they're closed". She LAUGHED AT ME and said "oh well" and hung up the phone. I was literally too stunned to speak.

I was able to adopt a sweet female cat. The procedure was explained and thorough. Which is preferred to make sure the potential adopted fur baby is placed in a loving FOREVER home. I am grateful to them for all their hard work and presurverance. I would absolutely recommend Animals Can't Talk here on Google. I mention them to friends and neighbors looking for a rescue place.

They need to get a new person to answer the phone. Trying to give up my cat of 5 years he has been marking because of the new animals I got and I am about to have a baby and can't have that and I got an attitude. I don't need your judgement. I'm at least trying to do the right thing!!! Most people would drop him off outside! I have to think about my child. Get a new job if you can't deal with the public

This is the most unprofessional business I've ever called. A woman answered the phone as if she just rolled out of bed. I explained that i lived in a complex and theres a cat looking for heat and sitting by the entrance door. It’s clear that the cat had already sprayed by the smell. I made it clear that i felt bad because of it being cold but I'm also afraid of cats. She began to laugh at me and say why are you afraid, what can it do to you? Then she proceeded to basically explain that shes not willing to help the cat find shelter and maybe it belonged to someone in the complex. I was in disbelief how rude and dismissive she was.

I adopted 3 cats from Naomi all of which were very healthy and clearly very well taken care of without any sign of abuse or neglect. I feel the screening process is very thorough and necessary. I still periodically keep in contact with Naomi as I feel she is truly acting out of pure compassion and selflessness and does whatever she can to place these cats in good safe homes. I have a few cats and have told Naomi if she ever needs to place a special needs cat or a senior cat, which are usually difficult to place, that my home is always open to one more.

This is a home based cat rescue run by Naomi and assisted solely by volunteers.
Kittens are housed separately, freely roaming in a bedroom. Adult cats are free roaming throughout the house.
The house is relatively clean despite the large number of kitties living there.
Give Naomi a visit if you're in the market for a furry friend (or 2!!).

We just adopted a cat from here. Friendly and organized nonprofit in East Stroudsburg. Don't let the directions to the gated community deter your adoption for a feline friend. They have many to choose from! 😺❤️
