I was the receptionist here for 4 months and it was such an odd experience.

Communication is a huge weakness here. Apparently I hadn't been doing my job up to their standards and no one told me about it until my supervisor blew up on me one day.

I didn't feel safe as a queer person, and was subject to a lot of discrimination. I felt ostracized as well. This place is not equipped to have queer employees, despite advertising otherwise.

As a disabled person, they totally couldn't accommodate my needs either. They're accommodation process is very lacking. I was expected to ignore my disabilities and no accommodation was ever taken seriously. This is ultimately why I quit.

The job I applied for (and job title) was administrative assistant, but it's a receptionist job. So I wouldn't trust any of their job listings.

This is such a weird place to work. The environment is strange, the employees are mostly holier than thou, there's more gossip happening here than actual work. If you're thinking of applying here I would look elsewhere.

They offer answers to every type of need someone facing homeless encounters. Whether providing the service needed or by giving information on where to get the need met...they treat everyone as the individual that they are and do care about each person in a genuine and unforgettable manner.

The HIP group treated my friend so very well. She has, as so many people seem to do, given up hope. My friend will return to your location and I believe that simple fact increases her chances of making a positive change for herself.

This facility which helps in supporting the homeless or others without a permanent residence/ address in is awesome. It was easy to register for your mail to be stored here for the time when you are able to pick it up.
I am grateful to Primavera Foundation for providing this service in Tucson!!

I've used Primavera off and on now for five years for a mailing address. They are super nice folks that are most helpful and respectful in every way. Being homeless is nothing to be proud of and these folks sure make you feel right at home without the labels we tend to find elsewhere.

Great resource for surviving the hellish vortex-like grip that Tucson holds on the homeless. Been on the road continuously since 2017. Starting in NW MT. Out of all the places I have survived, Tucson is the toughest. while resources here in Tucson are slim to none compared to the rest of the West Coast, the people of Tucson are for the greater part compassionate. primavera foundation is run by some those people. Compassionate, patient, understanding and most of all excepting of the individual & their particular struggles. If you are homeless in Tucson, good luck ?. Just know Primavera offers real help
