Hi friends and neighbors! Well, I stayed here a couple times in the last few years. As with anywhere, there's good and not so great. I found myself homeless a few times and they let me in.
I felt like Mary K was a good soul. Dustin was cool and I liked Noreen because she didn't take any bs off anyone. As stated in another review, you need to work for your keep. This is where I had a few issues. I am disabled and had a couple of problems with the person that dealt out the jobs when Noreen wasn't there.
There are classes, but felt like they were geared towards people who didn't have much and due to circumstances found themselves needing an education, a home and food. I personally have a degree and have heard the dish they are serving before. Not a big deal, but don't challenge them because you will be on the receiving end of someone's sh%*!list. Food was better than expected. Dates don't matter...lol! I stayed on the line of them thinking that I was bucking the system, but it's just because thy didn't know what to do with me. All good, I appreciate the lodging!

This is the most beautiful safe haven in Tucson. I am blessed to have been chosen for the opportunity to have stayed here for a year. I found direction, happiness and inner peace here. What I learned is priceless. And I am proud to say that because of my stay here, I am now in a position in which I can start giving back! Thank you GRM! Thank you Lord!

My family and I suffered there because the leadership is not Christ like. They really don't understand what being homeless is like. We lost all our freedom and privacy. They defended a single mom and her best friend, by exiting us, after they degraded my family. When we came back to get our belongings they were unkind and snobby to my daughter. They are so blind and disorganized.

They’re always very appreciative of whatever you can donate. Our family always donates to Gospel rescue mission. My wife always donates her business attire and interview attire.

This place is all about controlling you while you are there. It's a prison. The staff are a joke with their pierced noses, tattoos and dyed hair. There's nothing Christian about this place. They just use the name Jesus to add to their secular program. I understand if you're in need, but if you're a believer don't be fooled by these posers. They don't want people to be changed by the Cross and by the Holy Spirit. They use the Bible for their program period. They allow the world to be their foundation and then add Jesus in to fit their Title. They use what ppl donate to them to control ppl.

They treat people like ex cons and drug addicts. Even if you are clean and don't have any of those sort of problems, you are still not free to come and go as you normally would as a U.S. Citizen. You have to submit an application requesting a 'Pass' IN WRITING and it has to be APPROVED each and EVERY TIME you want to step outside! Even if you are HUNGRY and just need to run to the corner market! And you will breath into a breathalyzer every time you return, even if you left with everyone to go to church (which is also very hugely mandatory). The staff are there just to do their job. They don't really care or want to know your problems

I have a friend who stayed there for a while and it completely helped her turn her life around. She wouldn't have been able to get where she is now without your help, guidance and support.
Also this is the only place I donate anything because I know it goes straight to the ones in need now.
