I love windows (don't judge) and I love factory tours (fabrication engineering is fascinating), so I knew I would love this, but was blown away by the attention to detail, commitment to the environment and ability to offer quality products for a range of budgets. Our guide Elena, was fun, knowledgeable and engaging. Warroad may be challenging in winter, but these are folks who understand that windows should keep weather out while allowing light in.

I don’t often find inspiration in corporations small beginning stories, however the Marvin Window and Door compnany is an exceptionally amazing visitors center and one that draws inspiration from its roots and gives back to those who have worked for and are a part of what makes the Marvin brand great.

I have a renewed respect for what this company does for its community and for the world as it practices it’s better, safer and responsible building practices. All while giving back to the community. Marvin is a Great example of what all companies should strive for.

We stopped to get information at the visitors center and ended up touring the Marvin Windows Musuem. I would say that would a must see if you are in the area. We learned about the history of Marvin Windows but also about how much the Marvin Family has given back to Warroad. Very interesting and informative. Wonderful video explaining the fire that happened and how together they all made work again.
