We signed up for flag football this year for our 1st grader and have had a wonderful experience. The group is extremely organized and the season has been fun with a ton of rewarding moment for my son and his teammates.

My family has played sports through NYO over 10 years. It has been a great experience. The coaches have always been excellent role models and dedicated to coaching their teams , and NYO places an emphasis on learning the game and being a part of a team. The kids have made many friends over the years and learned good sportsmanship. It is truly a special organization dedicated to children. We will miss it when our children age out of it, but will cherish the memories and lessons learned.

We have played baseball, basketball, and sideline cheer. They have all been wonderful. I have read some of the comments about “daddy ball” and I’m sure there are some volunteer dads that are playing favorites as this happens anywhere. We have not experienced it at NYO but have at other parks. My advice is that if this happens please inform the league heads ASAP. I will day as an organization the people running NYO are all super fair and the facilities are always top notch! Keep up the great work NYO we are all so very fortunate to have these fields and facilities in town.

NYO has been a second home to our kids for many years! We have played all sports (baseball, football, softball, basketball, and cheerleading) - and each experience has been top notch! Our kids have learned so much through NYO - both on and off the fields, and the relationships that each of us have formed have truly been life changing! Thank you for creating such a wonderful place for our kids to grow and play!!

Played my youth sports at NYO, and now my kids have done the same. WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO SPEND TIME AS A YOUTH. Lifelong friends for kids and parents alike. The organization is almost exclusively run by volunteers (I think there is ONE PERSON on the payroll)... I'm guessing 10,000 hours of volunteer time a year to keep it going. For those who want to spend their time being a keyboard warrior and complaining about something at NYO, feel free to sign up for a volunteer position and lend a helping hand- pretty sure they are always "hiring".

IMHO, NYO is a World Class Youth Sports Organization. My son played baseball here for 10 years and we loved every minute. If you are looking to enroll your child or children into a sports program this is the one!

I have played at Nyo for 3 years. Every park is awesome, especially field of dreams, my personal favorite. My experience has been awesome. I love the concession stand. So many different sports!

As a spectator I saw a lot of Daddy ball going on. The most talented kids weren't playing as much as the coaches' sons were. This makes for lots of shock and let down as these boy try out for school teams and don't make it or don't get playing time.
