This just happened . We booked load with Five Star and they cancelled us because they had a truck closer. The latest pickup was 4 pm. My driver would have arrived on time. They continued to keep it on the load board even after booking with us and after us signing a legally binding rate confirmation. They booked us as a contingency plan while keeping it on the load board holding up our truck and thinking we had the load when we could have booked other loads for our driver. They refused to pay TONU pay (Truck Ordered Not Used) after cancelling the load on us. A lady named Alex was the Broker who cancelled on us. I would not recommend working with this company. They cost my driver money and other loads . And apparently by reading review on facebook this is not the first time its happened.
