I appreciate NACA being available for indigenous folks, the front staff does multiple multi tasking which I would give them a five star rating. I appreciate the front office for apologizing when they misgender(two spirit) me and continue to say they are working to improve. Which I hope staff realizes it improve quality of life of patients like myself.

However Dr Hershey wasn’t the best choice for my auntie who I took there, because we couldn’t get into Sacred Peaks. Very unprofessional when I mentioned my pronouns and laughed, with a smirk. Reading the reviews on him, it’s time for a change. He was very degrading when doing an evaluation for memory care, asking questions that were not pertain to an individual who lived on the reservation without running water or cable. Like she knew who the President was, when she doesn’t even vote. And I said that! I said please ask relevant questions. And he looked at me like you’re not the doctor. Yeah, I’m not but you’d think you’d ask me questions prior to asking them. He said her memory was fine, unfortunately it isn’t. I had another opinion elsewhere, which they confirmed her memory is fading and offered memory care services.
Second, another reason why we were there she complained about her hernia that is was effecting her bladder. He touched it and said it okay, just scar tissue. Two days later we’re in the ER, she had a sever bladder infection! The doctor was shocked a urine sample wasn’t done.

I took her in for multiple reasons to start the process for her getting into a long term care facility, because she can barely walk.

I called and changed her provider there. I know nothing will be done because it seems like this is an ongoing issue there. The board of directors really need to review patient care policies and take patients word when they share them.

Place is a joke just a money grab for the board members how are not even from AZ. They take advantage of ignorant Navajos and their access to health care. Should not be allowed to exist.

This place used to be fantastic. Unfortunately it's just not great now. The appointments are being scheduled out months in advance. DR Hershey I's super gruff and unfriendly. Overall bad vibe here now. Too bad.

This place is a complete joke!
Do not waste your time doing classes here, they won't even bother to email my completion to the DMV like I need so I have to do the classes all over.
Then when you call, nobody knows what to do and the curtis guy is always on "vacation" or gives you the run around for months! ?
Smh!

After completiin of classes, clients are given a hard time in recieving paperwork, certificate s, or even documents. Administration sucks.
