This is not an unlikely person, when I asked her for help, she very quickly entered into my situation and did the impossible for me, she helped find sponsors for me who also turned out to be very kind and wonderful people. On my part, there were a lot of family problems, but they were all got into the situation and tried to find solutions! I am incredibly grateful to everyone and especially Carolyn for the fact that she very quickly found a solution to my problem for me, moreover, in the place where I needed it!

In 2022, a terrible war began in our native country, in Ukraine. We hoped that this horror would end much faster, but after almost 2 years of war, we realized that the war could last much longer than we expected. Before the war, our family never had any plans to move to another country. That is why it was a particularly difficult decision for us to leave our home. But we made this difficult decision for the sake of our children because we want the children to live and study in normal conditions and a peaceful environment.
During the war, children heard air raids every day, and hid with us in bomb shelters for hours. The children heard the explosions of bombs in our city. Russians attacked residential buildings in our city.
My wife and I both speak English so our thoughts were about Great Britain. This country is the closest English-speaking country to us.
Unfortunately, the British program for Ukrainian refugees required us to find a British “sponsor” and it was a very long and difficult path. Including in social networks, we encountered fraudsters, but we immediately recognized them.
One British woman wrote to me and said that unfortunately she could not act as a sponsor, but she gave Carolyn's contact.
We are extremely grateful to Carolyn and her team for the opportunity to continue living a normal life while our home country is at war. Carolyn helped us to find a British "sponsor family" who have been incredibly supportive during our adaptation process in Britain while we look for our own home and jobs. Our move was primarily for the sake of the children. And this made it possible for children to attend school and continue professional sports. Children no longer need to hide in bomb shelters every day and can sleep peacefully at night.
My wife and I got a chance to fully continue our career development and now we can fully financially support our family.
We felt extremely supported by Carolyn throughout this process from finding a visa sponsor, through the visa application process.
It is very difficult to express my gratitude for this support and help.

Thanks to this project, our family and our children have the opportunity to live a normal life in a peaceful environment.
