We visited in March of 2023 while staying in Fairbanks. Creamer's Field was a great within the city area to hike around on the system of trails in the snow. While we tried to observe the aurora we had better luck outside of town, though we encountered a moose one night. There was an Alaska Dog Mushers Association event as well the week we stayed so we observed some of that. The visitors center was a good visit as well. Mark even brought out Blue (taxi'd wolf) for us!

Creamers Field is a great place for walks. There are so many different kinds of birds and other wildlife here during the summer. The paths and bridges are maintained decently. There are multiple different paths here that you can choose from. Some paths only take around 15 minutes to get through, and other ones can take over an hour. Overall, it's a great place for walking and birdwatching, it's also a great spot to just enjoy the outdoors.

Great exhibits on common bird species and public programs. Check out the neat box qr's in the fields. Great shots of the birds who are nesting in them. Love the banding program. Well done!

I live to come out to Creamer’s field for a walk after work. The Visitors center has nice gifts and hosted a silent auction during Tanana Valley Crane Festival. Definitely a place to spend some time when you have extra in Fairbanks.

Beautiful place to go and see birds or go for a nature walk. Great for kids and adults alike. There was even a trail that I believe wheelchairs could make. Great stop

Staff truly care about your experience and are helpful to decide what to do. They suggested we visit the songbird banding station. We did and the staff at the banding station were friendly, very informative, and clearly care deeply about what they do. Do bring bug spray though!
