They -out of the blue- started charging my auntie an extra $900/month for "medication management" - even though SHE manages her OWN meds!
She said they do absolutely NOTHING different to validate the sudden fee!

THEY ARE THIEVES!!!
They GOUGE residents for services both (1) unprovided and (2) un-needed.

I heard about the protest by local Homer residents. But auntie continues to be GOUGED FINANCIALLY.
They are wearing her down psychologically and depleting her long worked for savings.

A SICKENING, SHAMEFUL, NIGHTMARE.
The facility is like a prison - auntie sent me pictures and videos. The ghastly food, the walls & corridors are have a prison atmosphere.

Another huge issue is the constant blaring of alarms when advanced dementia residents try to leave locked doors.
There ARE ways to safely manage wandering dementia residents, but they are clearly not used. There are gentle and effective methods they should be using. Instead they treat residents like prisoners - traumatizing them.
But the facility does not care about their residents, they're subjected to the blaring alarms every single day.
Don't they care the psychological TRAUMA this causes No.

I had the same experience as the other reviewer: They don't answer the phone, and I tried many times. My auntie is paying, like, 5G a month or something and I can't contact the place. Maybe they are keeping people away intentionally. Thank god my uncle is in Homer with her.

This business NEVER answers their phones. No matter which phone numbers or phone menu options I try, never answered by a person. I'm never able to speak to someone.
My calls are sent to voicemail - but messages are not returned.

There is no assistance from this assisted care facility.
Thousands of dollars being paid to a facility who won't even answer their phone. I am stunned & deeply disappointed.
