Had an amazing experience a few months back, was my first time going and the staff were all so very helpful, friendly and compassionate! My kids really needed clothes as they were outgrown in almost everything, we were completely out of food, and they also informed me on other resources they have such as free medical care, free marriages since my fiance and I are looking to get married, and they even through in a brand new toy nerf gun for my youngest son! SO VERY VERY grateful for this place and everyone running it! Idk what we would have done without there help! I can't express enough how blessed I am to have found them in search of desperation for help! Thank you all so so much for all you do!! Looking to come in today or tomorrow to donate all those outgrown clothes of my kiddos! 🥹🙏🩷

I had always have had a excellent experience with this center and the employees in there , I went Friday around 1:00 and in desperate need for food for the weekend the lady’s in the food pantry were extremely rude , anything I asked about I was told to wait she would tell me , so long story short I got passed to a different worker who was extremely rude bc I didn’t know the new rules , I was to embarrassed to try to explain my kid’s allergies so half of the things I am not able to use I asked for cat food and was told yes that had it I told them I have 5 cats she handed me one tenny tiny tin can , for people thinking I’m complaining then whatever my experience that day made me feel shameful and I can’t imagine I’m the only person who experienced that but who wants to complain when people are help others , thank goodness for day star I raced over there and explained my situation they helped me with no problem even stay late after being all day , I’d love to reach to have someone reach out to me and explain why I didn’t get the peanut butter she didn’t provide for a house of kids of 4 it’s just pathetic I left with enough food for one person with a house of 5 children I asked for hygiene I was told to pick one item I have teen boys and girls!! So I had to choose between tampons or deodorant it’s just not fair y’all can do way better then this the build looks nice but seriously service sucks !

This organization is so wonderful for many different reasons. My experience with their Christmas program has been life-changing. I started there volunteering for highschool hours around 5 years ago and now each year I "adopt" a child for Christmas. I also put in a few hours wrapping gifts for kids each December alongside church groups, scouts, and a lot of kind people. The ladies running this program (especially Ms. Ginger) are phenomenal and make everyone feel welcomed. Any families in need are sure to get essentials and desires here! I love that they serve our county's residents and their various needs.
