Ujima Maternity Network is a great supportive resource no matter what trimester you are in as a mother of color. They will support you with maternal health education, doula network support, lactation, sisterhood connections, and even opportunities to advocate for maternal health in your own communities. I enjoy the vulnerable conversations that happen every Maternal Outreach every second Saturday of the month ! I highly recommend this organization as a mother! Ujima is a village that you need in parenting!

I am so happy to have found Ujima! They have provided me with a wonderful community of women! They provided me with education to prepare for my home birth. I was able to find an amazing midwife and doula with Ujima to support my journey. Even after birth I am still connected with Ujima with their monthly Sista Circle meetings. They provide great postpartum support and a nurturing environment!

Great place to go to if you're looking to have a home birth. Nice people with great vibes. Helped us feel comfortable and made us feel good about our decisions. Couldn't ask for a better support team.
