The grant from ECF helped secured a 999 year lease for the Irvine Road Community Orchard. To achieve this goal, we raised £45k from generous public donations and our grant funders - Tudwick Foundation, Essex Community Foundation, the Postcode Places Trust and Colchester City Council. This has safeguarded a community asset that brings benefits for the wildlife and for the community who enjoy and manage this special place.

Earlier this year we applied for funding from the Essex Community Fund. The process was straight forward and everyone I communicated with at the the ECF was helpful, positive and knowledgeable. We were successful, which has helped the Crouch Kayak Club provide more experiences for its current and future members.

I would highly recommend them.

The Essex Community Foundation supported us in the work we do within the field of suicide intervention. Their trust and faith in our service made a huge difference to us and enabled us to save lives. Nothing could be more important so what else can we say other than a huge thank you to this amazing organisation.

ECF has been our great supporter throughout the years. Their application process is very straight forward and the whole team is extremely helpful and supportive prior, during and after applying. We couldn't have been happier with this fantastic local funder. On behalf of all the 450 children and young people with disabilities, and their parents that BOSP supports, thank you very much for your continuous assistance over the years. It's an absolute pleasure working with you!

Highly recommend applying for a grant for your charity/cause with Essex CF. The whole application process was on line and really simple, their decision making was super fast and wonderful communication throughout the 12 month period. It really felt like they were holding our hand and guiding us. We sent in regular photos of the wonderful activities our Dementia cafe were able to do for the first time with our grant. We always had such encouragement back which motivated us all as well. A truly flexible and amazing organisation that we're hoping to use again one day. Thank you so much Essex Community Foundation love Dengie d caf members, trustees and volunteers. .

ECF granted us funding to expand our school uniform service to two new partner organisations, helping us to achieve a big increase in the number of items we supplied in 2023 compared with the previous year. This was our first application to the fund, and we found the application process quite straightforward, and ECF were always friendly and helpful, including through the grant period. ECF is doing a great job in support of local charities and we are very grateful for their support.

In the spring of this year we applied to ECF for help to hold a community event to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. The team at ECF were helpful and supportive, and our successful application enabled the village to come together and to celebrate with friends, family and neighbours. Thank you ECF we couldn't have held the event without you! Debden Parish Council.
