This Sanctuary was one of the coolest places my husband and I visited while traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday. The animals are obviously very happy and very well cared for. Despite the time of year, we saw many active animals and got some great pictures! The staff obviously love what they do and were so kind and friendly as well. We will definitely pay a visit again in the future!

Very nice that they’re trying to care for these animals but not a great place to visit. Pretty expensive admission fee for what it is. They keep the animals in enclosures that are too small for their size and activity level… not the best. Overall, disappointing.

We did a private tour this month (Jan) since they are closed for the winter. It was super affordable and so educational! We had a tour guide the entire time and spent time getting to know each animals story, and how they fit into the Yellowstone ecosystem. These animals all have a story of why they cannot be released back into the wild and they are so well cared for at this sanctuary. I highly recommend a winter tour if you are in Red Lodge!

Victoria gave my wife and I a thoroughly enjoyable, knowledgeable, and unforgettable tour. She answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. We highly recommend Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary to both adults and children. Tours are available for additional fee, but well worth it

Do not let the bad reviews deter you! I would definelty pay the little extra for a tour, we had an amazing time learning about the animals from our guide, Victoria. She was very informational and you can tell they care deeply for the animals here! Long drive from Bozeman, but completely worth it!

We happened to be in the raptor area when the keeper came out to feed them, and she was so kind and knowledgeable and she told us about each bird as she fed them. It was so much fun. I will definitely be returning to see all the animals again!
