I came to Casper (from Cheyenne) for the city’s Recovery programs, however I stayed and made this town my HOME for the incredible people and community. The 12-24 Club truly captivates the true beauty of Casper Recovery and offers a friendly atmosphere for anyone seeking to get the help they need and enjoy a great meal and meetings in the process. I recommend the Chicken Bacon Wrap, and like to get a side of buffalo sauce to add a bit of spice to the dish and am always satisfied with the taste. The café staff are wonderful and add a whole new level of comfort and familiarity to the experience. Whether you are a Casper resident or just cruising through town, add this place to your itinerary just for the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful journey through Recovery. I am not a fan. Good place to go if you want to wallow in your mistakes, went for years and didn’t get anything out of it except depressing stories. Now that I haven’t gone for about 2 years I’m doing great without its services. It does help people I’m sure, but not me, who has a mental disability and drank when I couldn’t control my feelings in a very bad situation. So now that I’m properly medicated and regular therapy I have my issues under control. Haven’t drank in 5 years. By myself. Everyone’s different and it’s nice at first to realize you’re not the only one, but after that it was too depressing to go.
