Red Desert Humane Society is awesome and well worth the drive (from Salt Lake). We were so impressed with how calm and happy the dogs are in their large runs. As for the incredible staff, they seem truly committed to the cause of forever-homing their pets. We were sent home with Lily's blanket, toys and other items to help her make the transition into our family. Red Desert has continued to check in with us and they are amazingly responsive.

Now onto Lily- the cutest, best pup ever. We were provided with very accurate information about her disposition and could not be happier with our decision to take her home!!! Thank you so much for matching us with our pup!

Very rude. They are definitely on a power trip over there about who can and can’t adopt an animal. I got scheduled to meet a puppy and I was really interested. They gave me an application and told me I needed the following information on it to proceed, but they couldn’t hold it. Ok, no problem. I got everything I needed the very next day and called them right as soon as they opened to proceed with the process. They told me I could come in, called me 20 mins later and told me she was adopted. I still showed up to see the other puppies because they said I could. When I got there they waited at the gate and wouldn’t let me in and told me the dog I was looking at was adopted the first day I went in. Which doesn’t make sense. They do take care of the animals but the people running it are terrible.

I went out to red desert society because I was interested in adopting a dog. The thing that really upset me about it is I could only see pictures of the animals that were on a billboard. I wanted to look at the dogs that they had like I had the chance at the pound that is behind albersons. So say someone adopts a dog or a cat from red desert humans Society and the dog or the cat doesn't get along with the person that adopts em and ends up attacking them. Then there would have major issues. It would be better if people got to view the dogs and cats that red desert humans Society has, so people can see if the dogs or cats have a bond with their future owners or not. A person can't choose a pet dog or cat by just viewing a picture of the animal. The Red Desert Humanes Society should let people that want to adopt a dog or a cat, should be able to meet the pet that they are going to adopt.

Adopted 2 older dogs for a home. CODY and Pooh are doing well and love walks a n d 💕 home made tortillas and peanut butter. Felt like they deserved a final home.

Don't trust any of the 5 star reviews especially since they are not real reviews. They are on a power trip with who can and cant adopt and their adoption form was put together by a 6th grader. No other humain society in the country is as fascist as this place. If you want to adopt an animal in need, rescue one from the city pound.

They genuinely care about the animals and finding them all good home. Always providing them with the care they need as well as the love they deserve! I highly recommend considering adoption if your looking for a new addition to your family 😊
