I brought some of my avian loving family members here for the raptor show. We were really impressed with the facility and the rehab opportunities provided to raptors. The presenters were really knowledgeable and handled all manor of raptor related questions with ease and enthusiasm. My nieces really liked all the interactive things in the educational room after the show. Especially the half gallons filled to the weight of the birds they represented. I can't stop thinking about the ambassador Gus. It was cool to see a group of people caring for animals that could not fend for themselves.

Anna was an extremely knowledgeable, engaging and lively host during my family‘s visit to the raptor center in September. We greatly enjoyed learning about the center and it’s development, but the highlight was definitely the ambassador visit at the end of the session. My family knows quite a bit about birds, but we all learned a lot during our visit and debated returning again during our trip for a longer tour. Unfortunately we weren’t able to this time around, but we hope to be back. Thank you to the raptor center for all that they do to protect raptors and educate the public on how to create a more habitable environment for these majestic birds.

This is our second visit over several years - just as impressed this time around but now they have upgraded (beautiful!) facilities. On both occasions, the raptor expert who gave the talk and handled the animals was incredible - so passionate, friendly, funny, and most importantly- highly informed and handled questions with ease and grace. We recommend this place to everyone - a great organization and happy to contribute the small admission fee. Kids of all ages will enjoy this - as did my elderly parents. Go!
