We spent a week up at Hinckley Scout ranch with our Scout Troop. The experience was phenomenal and the boys had a great time. The staff was enthusiastic and the campgrounds very accommodating. One of my favorite aspects was that we could parkar trailer directly in our campsite during the week. That is so much more convenient than having to haul all our gear from the parking lot. I would definitely recommend Hinckley Scout Ranch as a place for week-long summer camps.

Had a great scout camp here with our older and younger boys. They are making great new improvements to the camp. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our boys particularly enjoyed the "Escape" challenge.

One of the better BSA camps I've attended in Utah. Food (meal plan) is ok. I'd say 6 or 7 out of 10 stars. Higher altitude brings fatigue quicker and sunburns easier. Campsites have shade (most of them), fire pits and grills (real campfires allowed). Restrooms and showers are either really old open style or individual private modular design (real flushing toilets) with fresh water and wash basins outside. Plan on hills and uneven terrain when getting around. Beautiful scenery with deer quietly moving between camp sites. More relaxed rules about vehicles parked in campsites, overnight, etc. Staff is friendly, competent, and seem to be very unified.

Amazing scout camp location. 4 stars cause it was a bit unorganized.

This was, by far the best scout camp facilities I’ve ever been to. We went out of council for our summer camp this year and participated in the dining hall for our food. The food was better than other camps I had been to. The showers and flushing toilets are game changers. The camp is well maintained and Big. Bikes are recommended but not 100% necessary. Elevation over 9000 ft. Beautiful vistas everywhere you look.

Great scout camp. It is large so be prepared to walk or bring bikes. It is nice to have the space. Deer wander through the camps. The councilors were great as usual at scout camps. They have some flush toilets but the showers are a little beat up, I heard they may replace them for next year. The food was good. The steaks the last night were the highlight. Of course I'm in a great troop so we have a great time wherever we go. But it is nice to have the wide choice of activities they had.

It wasn't worth the money. When we went none of the camp personnel were doing their jobs, they wouldn't let us drive cars to classes on the far side of the camp even though they had put us at the front entrance. Then they wouldn't admit us to classes that we had signed up for because other people had abandoned their schedules. the camp was pretty trash. garbo.
Sincerely a concerned citizen
P.S. i hope their scout lodge burns during a lightning storm.
