I recently visited the Children's Museum of La Crosse for the first time in 20 years, and it was an amazing experience! Growing up, I remember field trips here in grade school, and coming back as an adult with my niece and nephew while visiting from Arizona was truly special.

The museum feels like a mini city of La Crosse, with so many interactive exhibits for kids to explore. My niece and nephew had an absolute blast playing and discovering new things. One of the coolest surprises was seeing one of the original Myrick Park Zoo boat rides—such a nostalgic and awesome touch!

The museum is well-maintained, engaging, and packed with hands-on activities that make learning fun. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is a must-stop for families with kids! Highly recommend!

We we're in town, and I took my 4 yr old granddaughter and 12 yr old grandson. They both absolutely lived it. Everything is hands-on. Really nice place.

The actual museum is great and well worth the money. There are 3 levels of activities for kids to enjoy. It is the clientele that make this rating low. I went with a 2.5 year old and she enjoyed except for c the parts 4-6 year old literally push her off a ladder and seats so they can use it. Parents/grandparents just sit on a bench with their phones and let kids run wild.

When there are parents somewhat watching their kids, they act like my kid did something wrong - I'm sorry a 2.5 year old takes a little longer to do something.

It was like from a film from a stereotypical redneck out of control gathering.

It was a Wednesday morning so it's not like a peak time either

We had a lot of fun with our 2 kids aged 18 months and 8 years. There were activities for toddlers, little kids, and big kids. 3 floors of fun for $8 was well worth the price. There were interactive STEM and pretend play activities including controlling water flow in a model River, a dinosaur maze where you could dress up, a bank, a Kwik Trip gas station and convenience store, and a whole lot more. We spent 2 hours here easy and could have stayed another 2 as we didn’t get to everything before they closed.
