Unexpectedly last year in July I got a call from ER to give my 83 year old Dad a ride home and I’m asked to be His POA. He was still working up til July 2020. I had No Idea what to do about any benefits. I was referred to Aging and disability and Kristin was my contact during Covid and she was phenomenal she took care of and held my hand through the paperwork and other resources with meals on wheels getting meals delivered to my dad and his wife’s house without Kristin and Dawns help I probably would’ve never been able to fill out all the paperwork correctly. Thankful to live in Lacrosse county during Covid.

This department has given false and misleading information several times. I have helped several people get through the hurdles that THIS agency purposely avoids doing, yet advertises that helping people is exactly what they do. False advertising, false information.
