This place is terrible I would not recommend. They don’t care about the people who live in home and will put you out in a blink of an eye if they think you are too strong for the program out you go. So very unprofessional this program want you to feel like their no hope for you the staff vapes with the residents they have roach and mouse. Staff is terrible and rude they have food from 2021 in aspect you to eat it. I can go on and on but y’all get it.

I've encountered numerous conflicts within the logistics and ethics of this org. I suggested using this facility when it became legally necessary for my young children to visit with their birth father in a supervised setting because there were no other options in the community. I spent hours explaining in great detail the facts and my concerns during our initial meeting. I'm talking about documented (including restraining order)issues which pose a risk to my young children being mentally, emotionally and physically harmed. The lady supervised my children less than 2 hours a week for more than a year. They come to visits punctually, clean, cheerful, fed, and cooperative. Not only have we received no positive remarks from the supervisor but she chastised me and my children when she heard one of them call their step dad "dad". This was reported to CPS! How dare they bond with the man that cares for them 24/7?! Their birth father has admitted to child abuse, is severely mentally ill, is months arrears for child support and refuses to provide any emotional closure to my older children whom he raised for 5 years before abruptly walking away. Yet, the center said he is healthy enough to have unsupervised visits now?! They don't seem to care about this man having left the children in the snow without shoes or getting severe sunburns from exposure while refusing to use sun screen I provided. This center houses women escaping domestic violence. I will probably receive backlash for this review but feel that people should be aware that a man with a history of physical, emotional and sexual abuse is being supported whilst hard working single moms that bend over backwards and deal with the emotional rip tide the young children experience from these visits are treated like a problem. Now they want to bring in the paternal grandparents that the children don't even know and fear after violent outbursts in front of them after the center explicitly promised me this wouldn't happen. Women and their children deserve better. In the past my children were shown pornography on their fathers phone while at these visits because the supervisor was not even in the room. I do think this new supervisor cares more but I feel at the mercy of her agenda to support whatever the father and his proxies are pushing for. I've shared concerns about how the father is even recently showing signs of not being properly treated for severe mental health issues(the children report bizarre behavior) and instead of reassurance I'm an anxious wreck worried that his mother will force her way in and scare my children again. Shouldn't the primary parent be getting updates or have some way to have concerns validated? I can't even get a response via email.

Amazing organization with forward thinking assistance for those moms who need stepping stone type help to change their lives and the lives of their children. Donations for food, clothing, toiletries help in abundance to facilities similar to this.
