We were unable to attend the morning or evening feeding tours because of the commute from west suburban Chicago. We enjoyed the big cats on display.

There were about ten rescued cats: tigers, lions and others which I am not very familiar with. It is worth the visit, but it depends on how far you are willing to drive since this place is remote. I was dragged along by a friend, and we drove 3 hours to check this place out. If you live within an hour of this place, I highly suggest exploring this unique rescue. This is unlike any big cat displays you have ever seen at zoos or safaris.

The cats are in a very humane environment and quite friendly. They loved playing around with us, and we were there for about an hour and arrived right after the morning feeding sessions ended.

P.S. Do not come during feeding hours as the gates are closed, come before or after.

Great place. You'll get an easy walk in. Great host. They have a shed filled with t shirts, sweatshirts and other fun stuff to buy. Nice bathrooms too.

We've attended the "Boozing with the Big Cats" event the past two years. We had a great time and it's very organized. You get to try spirits from smaller businesses while supporting a good cause.

Bam Bam is my favorite lion.

This place was nice to visit if you like big cats. You can take as much time as you want without being rushed, you can read their back story and know their names. It was nice to get away from the Dells driving the back roads.

My Mom & I enjoyed seeing lions, tigers, & servals. Granted some cats might be napping. Wonderful they help Big cats. So take your time & walk around a 2nd time because maybe some of the cats might be stirring on there own. Please be respectful & not loud around the cats. Call ahead for hours & warning of possible nearby road construction. They offer tours certain times. Have a gift shop. Paved w/benches. Some picnic tables + pavillion. Remember this benefits the Big Rescue Cats. I/mom appreciate the ticket lady happily answered some cats questions. So it was educational. I guess the special guided tours educational. Such as early morning & evening. I believe they have fundraiser's nearby in Rock Springs? Such as an annual car show. Maybe a restaurant(bbq?) soon?

I had an incredible experience visiting Wisconsin’s Big Cat Rescue! Jenny, the co-owner with her husband, personally guided me on the morning tour, where I observed all the cats enjoying their breakfast. She shared fascinating facts about each one and patiently answered all our questions. It was clear that every animal at this rescue is well cared for and loved. Seeing a Liliger, rescued by Joe Exotic, was particularly fascinating—learning about her unique birth was a highlight. After feeding time, most cats retreated to shade to avoid the heat, underscoring the value of opting for the morning tour. Supporting this sanctuary feels rewarding knowing the funds directly benefit the cats. Getting up close to each magnificent creature made the experience absolutely worthwhile. Additionally, their summer fundraiser at a local park is a fantastic way to support the cause while enjoying food, drinks, live music, and vendors. I can’t praise this place enough!

First, I love animals, and what a cool place this is! Visited on Saturday, it was so exciting and refreshing to see so many large cats up close in a seemingly natural environment.. These cats appear to be well cared for and get lots of attention and interaction with the owner, who was so friendly with the guests! This place has a new fun twist added: You can even treat them to a snack and watch them devour an entire chicken right before your eyes! I get out here as often as I can to show support for what is truly a special place. Just a short hop from Baraboo, worth every second you're there.

We really enjoyed our visit. The cats are well taken care of and this was much better than seeing animals in cramped cages at zoos. Nice country drive from our resort in the dells.
