This is a great place for kids and adults. There is so much information you can learn about farming and crops, and all the different uses for crops besides just food. There are plenty of activities for kids to do like playing grocery store, a kinetic sand table, and toy tractors. You can also scoop pretend cow pies. We were fortunate enough to be there when a baby calf was being born! It was incredible. The cafe is also amazing.

We wanted to learn more about the area and the state since we were here for work and also wanted our 2 year old daughter to have fun. This place accomplished both! It is very cool and a great place to learn about the state and general agricultural knowledge. There are a lot of interactive exhibits and even toys and a coloring station for kids. When we went, they had a baby goat at the entrance and piglets you could pet near the maternal cow section. We spent a good 2 hours there, and our daughter was mostly engaged the entire time!

Combine simulators, broken toy room with toy tractors are all broken. Seems like a lot of wear and tear in the building. Should be updated. They charge enough to get in here. What are you doing with all your money? But on a good note, the cafe is really good food.

My husband & I visited here on our way home from a weekend in Green Bay. It was early March so little cold outside but they have a small playground at this very new attraction. Inside a small gift shop & diner are on first floor along w/birthing center where we did see Sophia a less then 2 hr old calf. There is also a small amphitheater & a life size cow you can milk. Upstairs (there is an elevator too) is filled with a large array of different types of farming & animal interactive labs for kids of all ages to try out. My husband really liked the 1 of 2 John Deere tractors you could drive through the field planting corn, harvesting, etc. We will be bringing grandkids here in the late spring or summer.

This museum is so nice. As an adult, I didn’t find it too interesting. But it is very interactive for children. I would say the coolest part is the simulator for harvesting crops. It is very well put together and very clean. They also had a birthing pen where there was a cow that gave birth while we are there.

Cafe is open again! Made a trip back now that the cafe is open again. Homemade chicken noodle soup, yum! Food was great as always. Dustin, the chef, really does a nice job. Just like every other place they are short on staff so please be patient, it’s worth it. Of course we finished things off with ice cream too. 😄

My daughter and I also went through the exhibits and checked out the cows 🐄 in the birthing barn since it’s been over a year since she was there. There have been a few play areas added so the little kiddos can play if the adults prefer to spend more time with the exhibits. Of course the popular kinetic sand station is still there. Also a little pretend grocery checkout station and toy tractors in the silo.

The facility is very spacious and open, bathrooms are clean and there are at least six bathrooms in the main facility to choose from. It was also nice to see antibacterial gel stations throughout.

The staff here is very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The interactive upstairs was very interesting and I learned a lot. It was very calm and quiet when I went on a Wednesday in January. I think it’s very important that we learn about farming here in Wisconsin and the food and other products that we put out into the world. Plus if you’re visiting from out of state, it’s important to note that they sell New Glarus in the gift shop 😉

Very very cool center that we were luck to have the chance to go to. Getting to see a baby calf born and teach my kids about what ranchers have to do for their animals was awesome.
They had many activities for the kids to learn about farming as well, and a combine simulator you could drive.
