Awesome camp that fosters REAL growth! Just nature, fun, games, making new friends, and growing closer to God. My kids have attended multiple weeks and I've been a counselor a few times too... Great time rain or shine. Exciting new things are coming too... They just added giant teepees for nature camp!

This is a little camp with a big heart. I sent my 9 year old for her first time away at camp for a week... Which was really a big step for her! I felt very good and trusted then to keep her safe in the pool and all the adventures as well as help her develop her own identity and relationship with God.
She was meet with helpful smiles and had an amazing time. The new directors are full of energy and bring so much fun to camp!

I am very disappointed in this company. When I called on Monday to find out what I needed to bring with me for the retreat (mind you I have tried contacting them via Contact on their website and then on Facebook Messenger no response back on this) , I was told they are cancelling this, due to roof problems. which I totally understand things do happen out of control of people, however I asked about how to go about receiving a refund, the girl on the phone told me they are working on an email and it will go out at the end of day Monday. The girl was in a big hurry to get me off the phone. I waited to end of day checked my emails and nothing. I left a voice message to find out how to go about expediting a refund on Monday evening. Tuesday no return phone calls back to answer my questions. So I left another message on Tuesday afternoon, very detailed, including my phone number. Wednesday at noon still no returned message.

I checked out the Facebook Page and that was where they notified people of the cancellation. So I asked a question on the post. I have been calling to get a refund for this and no one has returned my phone call. I never received an email stating how to received a refund. Is there someone who can expedite this as I would like a refund, the response from Wolverine Christian Camp was through Facebook private messenger I understand you are upset the retreat has been cancelled as are we-I am not sure attacking us through Facebook is helpful though. Your refund has been processed.

My response was Thank you very much. But I think your have the definition of attacking wrong. I asked a question because I was not getting any answers or phone calls regarding this as I have left 2 detailed phone messages regarding this and when I spoke to someone on Monday they stated an email would be sent out explaining how to receive a refund and I have not received anything. My next question was What form can I expect my refund and it is very unclear to me on the procedure since I paid online.

It is very sad the lack of communication they have and regards for other people. This would have been my first retreat. If I had not called to ask what to bring I would have just showed up there this evening for the retreat. I do not go on Facebook all the time. That drive is an hour and half away from my house and to not be notified of the cancellation is just not acceptable. How many other people are going to show up for a retreat that has been cancelled?
