I recently visited the Lake County Historical Society Museum in Two Harbors, MN, and found it to be a delightful experience. The engaging displays of local history, free admission during an event, and the reasonable $5 entry fee offer good value. Outside, the train displays and the trail to the Two Harbors Lighthouse added to the charm. If you find yourself up in Two Harbors, this museum is a good place to visit.

Mixed feelings about this place. Outside is quite nice with the trains and informative. Inside I wanted to go to the museum, so I requested for a ticket which is $5. Well apparently using your debit card there is a $10 minimum, so I ended up leaving.

Absolutely loved this museum. Smaller but I think that is why I like it so much. Great displays, awesome history and you can't beat the price of $5 to get in. We were the only ones there during our visit. (Thursday morning). Highly recommend.

A train depot, in a town born out of the forces of history is a great setting for a museum. The $5 charge is more than worth it if one has even the slightest curiosity or interests in the history of this key Minnesota historical spot on Lake Superior's North Shore.

I met a very nice lady named Melissa and her dog Odin. As a somewhat disabled guy, Melissa was very friendly and patient whilst showing me the history of the trains and how the miners had Whiskey Flats or some such.🤷 Anyways, I had a fantastic time and would like to thank Melissa and her fellow regents. 👍👍❤️😎☘️☘️

Amazing museum! Beautifully captures Two Harbors and many other aspects of the region as it progresses through both industry and time. I was so surprised. I will have to be back to digest more information. This is very interesting and captures natural, cultural, and industrial history of the region. Not to be missed or overlooked!
