Racist. They do not help you they pick who they actually want to help. I’ve literally been going through hell since being on this program. My worker Michelle Wicker does not communicate properly or at all but sends you alot of documents that’s not explained (I never been on this program) the inspectors don’t do what they’re suppose to do either and. Nobody is of help I’ve complaining about this property and its owners since I’ve been in this house I’ve been my own landlord making my own repairs. They broken policy with me already numerous of times so I’m taking legal actions against them. I do my part I kept everything documented and I send everything I’m suppose to just for them to break policies AGAIN . I should never be this stressed out on a program that’s suppose to help. They are highly unprofessional, rude, and unorganized and discriminatory.

They were great a couple years ago. Now I feel a little discrimination they tell you to report changes within 10 days I did that in September but get a response back telling me I have to wait until January I said ok fine I waited until January which is now reported the same changes I did in September no one has responded to me at all.

Westland housing commission is the place where I got accepted for an section 8 voucher. When, I first got assigned to a section 8 worker I was told to call and email my worker for any changes and most of the time my worker never responded. Also, I felt prejudice there with the older white lady that worked in the front office. She never was helpful and she would always just send me to straight to my workers vm even when I tried to ask her general questions. Not only that their very strict on section 8 housing here don’t recommend anyone to apply at this housing commission.
