Love this church! They have done so much for my family, and the Sunday service is awesome. We start at 9 AM for those who may be interested..

I also love all the youth activities they have throughout the week to help keep kids off the streets and out of trouble, as well as their summer programs.

They also have a women's ministry group that meets on Tuesdays at 5pm that is very fun group of ladies!

I was at their community baby shower today and it was awful!! It was boring and the food they served us was disgusting so i starved the whole time. Most of the time was used on “guest speakers” that was mostly talking about their selves which i learned nothing from. Only two guest speakers was amazing and one was from Starfish program and the other was a African American lactation consultant. The lactation consultant was actively talking to us and answering questions until Carol came and told her it was time for the next speaker and they was taking more time to talk than the lactation consultant which made no sense. Then at the end Carol was passing something out to everyone while snapping at us to hurry up which was very rude. The only item that was exciting from getting from here was the pack n’ play’s or the high chair’s that was new. Everything else was used that they tried to give out. Also the diapers they gave out was in small bags and was only 6 in there and everybody only got one which is not enough. I recommend just going to a different community baby shower, this one was not worth it in my case just a waste of time especially from 9-2 was a long time just for nothing for real. Most people was falling asleep cause of boredom.

Eff these people, they turned my daughter and grandson away when she tried to get emergency food when a spiteful DHS worker cut off her bridgecard for three months. She was assured by a Salvation Army employee she'd get some food if she showed up at a certain time. When she arrived she was told she had to bring in proofs of income and that the previous employee gave her the wrong info. I will never donate to this organization again. 😠
