I was hesitant to put my husband here because the ratings were low. Since I had him at another facility, which had higher ratings. However after taking a tour and seeing it, I was satisfied it was clean and maintained. As I was taking the tour residents were smiling and engaging. ALL the staff are wonderful they are very caring it put my mind at ease. My husband loves the food. The admissions director Megan went above and beyond, she made sure things went smoothly. This was a hard decision to make, I would HIGHLY recommend Regency at Whitmore Lake to anyone who needs rehab or long term care.

My grandma is there and there are staff there that care.
Not all the staff, but I feel the majority of them care about her wellbeing and try.
There has been a few issues, but all were resolved with communication.
She's not living her best life, but she is living a great life and has made friends there.
Also, they always bread her hair in the cutest way!! ❤️ It makes me smile every time!

I had a wonderful visit with Jamie K at the Regency of Whitmore Lake! She really helped explain the whole process of Medicaid for me and my family member. She was such a great help and made it comforting to have my family member in here. Thank you Jamie for all of your knowledge and explaining what will best work for us. I will recommend more people to the Regency of Whitmore Lake and direct them to Jamie.

A warm and welcoming home. The staff truly cares about each unique resident. They regularly have fun and engaging activities, and I appreciate that they recognize veterans (even with a personalized engraved plaque on Veterans Day!). Staff member Olivia goes above and beyond to make sure residents are comfortable, safe, and happy.

I had a great Experience with Jamie K. at the Regency at Whitmore Lake ! I had no clue on how to apply for Medicaid for my loved one and she was such a huge help , and made it such an easy transition for our family! She was kind , knowledgeable, very efficient, and always listened to our concerns we had . She explained things to us that nobody else ever did . She had excellent communication skills, and I couldn’t be more thankful that she was there to help us at our time of need . I will refer people to Regency that are in need of care and recommend that they speak with Jamie !Thank you Jamie for all of your hard work and skills !

We first had dad in a posh, expensive memory care facility where they spent down all assets. He received three meals a day and his meds. Nothing more.
The family was forced to place him into a nursing home only after learning from an elder law attorney what was necessary to qualify for Medicaid.
While The Regency at Whitmore Lake is not extravagant the care made up for it 100%. The weekday staff was attentive and caring, providing dedicated service to making sure the residents were interactive as well as cared for.
I was disappointed with the weekend staff, which at the time was from a temp agency. It is my understanding that this has been remedied. Overall my experience is one of complete awe with the amount of care that was provided. Communication went a long way here.

A horrible disgusting facility that does not even treat their residents with dignity. I had to remove my loved one before he had even been there 24 hours. No one was taking him to the restroom and he got a huge bruise on his head from trying to get up on his own that no one knew about, staff was not even communicated with that he had broken ribs so he was not being moved properly. He and his bed were covered in poop, pee and blood, wasn’t given his meds and could even hear residents being yelled at. I do not recommend to anyone.
