They weren't helpful unfortunately. I really need assistance in seeking employment, an all I got was a handout with day labor on there. I came in two hours prior to closing which I would think plenty of time but not I guess. Never called me back, an also said they have limited funds left for housing assistance an I'm not sure what deemed me unqualified for that but....... My experience not really helpful. Lady helping me was not "helping me" at all unless that's what she is supposed to do is give you a list of day labor places an have you fill out a form with your information which I could have done online an saved myself a bus ride all to not get contacted for anything other then a sorry for ya basically. Hopefully this isn't everyone's experience.

I was contacted by someone at the charity, and they weren’t able to help me pay my back rent, but she had told me that they would be able to assist with deposit on a new place. I was told that I could let the new place know that the charity would be covering the deposit and we could go from there. After finding a new place, and putting my own personal money down as well as signing the lease so I can get the place the charity decided to not return my phone calls or emails or voicemails. So then I had to tell the new place that I could not pay the deposit Because I had not heard back from the charity. Since I’ve already signed a lease and I was breaking lease, I am being charged $5000. So not only am I out of an apartment, but Now I have new debt that I have to pay thanks to the charities lack of follow up and unprofessionalism.

I called on 11/14 at 850 am and was spoken to so rudely by the lady that answered I'm appalled!!!! I wouldn't have thought to be treated in such a rude manner at a Catholic business! Today's a Sad day! I hope something is done about this since she wouldn't let me talk to a manager!

If I could give less than one star, I would. My daughter reached out for assistance in December 2023. She and her husband had both lost their jobs. They just needed assistance for the month with rent and Christmas gifts for their two children. They received word back immediately by phone from a Josh Wen and received a rather large check. They deposited this check in good faith to their Wells Fargo account. It was immediately put on hold for 30 days. I tried to send them money but their account was frozen because of this check. It turns out it was fraud. They now have no bank account and can't get one because they were flagged by ChexSystems. The Catholic Charities of Central Colorado will not return phone calls regarding this matter. I highly recommend NOT using this organization. I will be contacting other authorities.

It took the organization over a year to respond? Unacceptable.
My daughter both emailed and called the numbers available on your website, as did I. We were in contact with you in person. So, your excuse does not make sense.

My rating will not change due to a response a year later and no response on repairing the damage to our daughters bank account. Again, the organizations excuse is unacceptable.

It's sad I've applied 3 times and denied all times and I've never ask for help since I've lived in colorado for anything..but due to my car breaking down with transmission issues it set me behind by one month and I guess you have to be literally evicted to be approved..where is all them Marijuana funds they get..smh

I recommend Sarah Kersey as a case manager for anyone who is in need or having trouble getting a foot hold in the community. She is compassionate and caring and truly listens to the needs of her clients. She also has a humble spirit in a servant's heart. The Catholic charities as a whole is a wonderful organization in this community and considered a friend and neighbor.

Hi there,
Landlord here! I wanted to leave a review for Catholic Charities as we have had to work with them a few times. They have been beyond friendly, and work as hard as they can to assist those in need. I have told them directly how wonderful they are, and I want to leave it here as well. I have personally worked with Heather and Bailey, and have yet to have a harsh experience with them.
