They offer so many services to help the community. A blessing for many families that otherwise would go without. They also help the homeless by offering shelter during the colder months. I can't say enough good things about all the good work they do here. The staff truly echoes His love.

I recently visited this resale shop two days ago, as I’m a local here in town. While I was shopping in the store, I heard the older woman that wears glasses be very rude to an individual who asked about the price of something. She was then rude to another customer that asked what days the food pantry was open, stating the days, then pretty much telling the lady she needed to read the paper ( it was printed and for older individuals they wouldn’t have noticed the paper ). She also was pricing iteams to put on the shelf.( while entering the building I noticed this is a Christian resale store, that is suppose to help the church and community.) I silently questioned her attitude as this isn’t Christian behavior to be rude to a customer of all people asking you a question. After being rude, she proceeded to price things. I was in the craft area of the store noticing a half used roll of yarn cost more than it does new from dollar tree. Not just that these iteams are donated so you can again help the community and church. She made a statement to her coworker that because an iteam she was putting out didn’t have a scratch on it she was pricing it for 75$ and she didn’t care weather people liked it or not ( the iteam was an old record player, I have the same record player at my house I bought at meijer for 65$ new.) For this to be a Christian store that is suppose to be about charity work ect… the staff should be WAY more polite and kinder to the community coming in to support your church/ business. Also since when does a resale store sell used iteams no matter the shape or more than retail value…. Kinda makes it seem like the church echo resale is stealing from the community in a sense especially when you blatantly are selling things more than the retail cost of them, along with being rude to the community supporting them….what has happened to the world…. We’re did the real meaning of charity, and giving go, along with compassion and understanding for other individuals because you don’t know what they go through. I don’t expect anything for free EVER, but manistee isn’t exactly a money filled town. It’s sad that even goodwill has iteams from 1$ tree that are priced more than what dollar tree sells them for. Then you have a Christian driven resale store overpricing iteams and trying to sell them for more than retail value. I’m sorry but aren’t Christian’s suppose to be about charity, compassion, helping, and doing things to bring good back to the world. Not robbing there fellow brothers and sisters that are going there to buy these things because they are in need and can’t afford them, along with being short and rude to them and making it hard for them to get what they need. I made this review because even I hope and pray something within the community / world changes. Especially now that I see it even trickled down into the church community.
