Amnesty Freedom Farm is seriously great. They rescue and rehabilitate (which I love) but what is more, they educate! Groups of children and individuals are invited to tour the farm and meet the residents. Visitors learn that animals can have good lives without becoming human food (pigs, chickens, and turkeys) or used for human sport and discarded when they grow old (horses). As for elderly dogs, the time and financial cost to take care of them is very high (I am sure that is why there's so many of them at shelters) but Megan and Rob provide them with love and a lot of vet visits (I am sure that's why they are always fund raising). And it is worth it. There is an acceptance and love for life here. Please visit the website and meet the residents, and donate if you are able!

Megan and Rob are wonderful caretakers for the animals. The animals are Blessed with lots of love, food, shelter and a fantastic environment to carry out the remaining days of their lives. I love the farm. The animals are also cared for with regular veterinary needs. I would trust them with any of my pets.

Amnesty Freedom Farm is a beautiful place for animals to live out their remaining life with owners that care for them as if they were there own children! The love and care that they show these animals is heart warming. Horse's, Dogs, cat, turkey or pigs these animals are in the most loving place in Northern Michigan!

Amnesty Freedom Farm is an exceptional organization dedicated to caring for domestic animals that are abandoned or neglected and abused. Megan and Rob have created a loving and nurturing environment to care for these most vulnerable beings. Megan also works to finance the farm, and is just now creating ways to support her farm through grants and events so she can expand and care for more animals.

What a great place for any animals that need a little TLC. Rob and Megan are so loving to each and everyone of their fury friends...right down to the orphaned mice in their barn. Love visiting when I can.
