They are amazing. They have always helped my family in every way they could. Sadly due to Covid. These days the struggle is very real. And is sadly an ongoing struggle. Anyway. I have had to use Salvation Army's resources several times and they just give and give and give. I thank the lord they are there. I do not know where my family would be today with out them. I know my bills would not have gotten paid without them. They show that God does work through people. And that even though this world today is a very evil and cold one. Good still exists and out weighs the bad. If anyone needs help and is on their back or overwhelmed with the weight of the world on their shoulders, give them a call and speak with Micah. He will work with you in any way he can and will help your family and point you in any direction you may need. They always are friendly. Are always willing to help, and are always there. I suggest Salvation Army to everyone. And most of all I give thanks to the lord himself. GOD has provided these places for us to seek him.

My Peers pretty much all still call the Salvation Army Post on Wright st. "THE WARMING CENTER" "....Its NOT a sbelter.or a food bank, or a Flophouse,IIt Serves the Community through Multitasking it's way,Over budget and shorthandedy II Might add, Warming the hands ,feet Bellies and Hearts of those who would otherwise have a much harder go of it especially come winter. A Staff so willing to help each and anyone of us,with such consistency and care that it makes the center for a spell feel like home, comfortable n safe ,that one can ,even for a few hours , all get along, relax, get Fed ,have a few laughs , or take care of pressing matters where on the streets they don't get accomplishec, and goals aren't met ...I can say I have never met anyone from the Center or that frequents ,that I didn't like, or seen any trouble,ILife long friend's I have made ,and All of tnis in an oversized chapel that would otherwise sit idle 6 days a week..You can feel the Arms of Father GOD around us at times,,Fellowship ! Food , and Fun makes for an easier week ,month ,yearr in an uneasy ,and At times...UGLY. , World... I owe that place my time,my Extra $$$,,My life in a sense..Stop in and pull up a seat, or have a treat, and eat....like a rock ...it's always there like the staff to pull that smile you don't wanna show ,or numb the pangs of hunger ,thirst, 10 to 3 weekly ,service on Sunday @ 11:00 God bless and PLEASE NO SMOKING IN undesignared areas..

I always donate here, but I feel the one lady is pretty rude when dealing with her, the one time I needed help back, not even for money, but just to have them put that 14 day hold on my account so I had an extra week to pay, she was pretty rude about and said no, but I've had them do it before I know better 🙁 oh well not others fault for her attitude

It's like my 2nd home. They are so helpful to others! Church on Sundays is the best, I suggest coming to The Salvation Army for Sunday services. Sunday school starts at 9:45 and church starts at 11.
