This is a smaller local hospital and the community is fortunate to have such a facility. Have been here frequently for lab work and various things for my family. Always treated with compassion and certain these guys saved my life during my last ER visit. It is a hospital, certain things take time and it may be busy especially during tourist season.

Nurse was nice. But the dr.. adolne was very rude. He talked Down to my husband and I when we took our 3 year old in for a allergic reaction to a pain reliever. He acted like we didn't know what we were talking about. Which we were right... and he kept over talking us even when he kept asking us questions..his energy was bad. Like some one put sour milk in his cereal. My husband said he thinks he was whatever because when he came into the exam room I thought he was a nurse... and he was like.. " no I'm the dr " 🙄.. then he was just rude. Bronson has gone down hill. The nurse was sweet though. And honestly we didn't need the dr we would rather just had the nurse she was more helpful.

I was just denied care.
My husband and I came in to be seen today as we are both pretty sick. We were told to go to the window #1. We sat down and my husband stated he thought he had covid. The lady immediately told me since he thought he had covid then I needed to leave right then as he had to be there alone..mind you, we were not even to triage yet. We were still in the main room at the window. I told her I was sick too but she did not care. So I had to leave, with no care.... He went back into triage and the lady there was so rude and condescending, that he walked out.
If you don't like your job then why are you there? What is the reason to be so mean/rude to people? We drove up there from Benton Harbor because this was our preferred hospital. I'm really dissapointed.
We are now at lakeland in St Joe..closer to our house and everyone here is so nice! We should have just came here in the first place.
We both ended up having covid

My mom went to the hospital with a nose bleed she's had on and off for 2 days and they did nothing for her but mark it down so sinuses.
Then went to Pawpaw and they gave her meds to stop the bleeding.

We were in South Haven from out of town and our four year old daughter split her eyebrow open. The nurses and doctors were absolutely great here. The nurse brought her a teddy bear to help her calm down, and the doctors were very thorough and answered all of our questions before they stitched her up. Even the security guard asked how she was doing as we left and our daughter pet his dog. Don’t let all of the negative reviews fool you, this hospital is great!

Charged me $430 to take my vitals. I left AMA because the ER dr came into my room and then tried to get ME to tell HIM what tests I needed. I’m not a medical professional..that’s why I went. So once he provided me no answer and tried to get me to tell him what tests I needed I figured I’d just leave. That cost me $430. Bronson used to be a good hospital…now it’s garbage.

Exceptional Care at Bronson South Haven Hospital/ER department

Our experience at Bronson South Haven Hospital /Emergency Department on the night of December 2nd, 2023, was remarkable. The night shift team was warm, efficient, and notably professional, turning a distressing situation into a manageable one.

Particularly, head nurse Amy O. stood out. Her deep knowledge, empathy, and excellent communication skills ensured we understood every step of the treatment, providing comfort amidst chaos. Despite being far from home, they made us feel welcome and reassured.

In short, Bronson South Haven Hospital and Amy O.'s exceptional care turned our daunting ordeal into a bearable experience, for which we are profoundly grateful..
