Beautiful campus with an amazing set of staff and professors to work with. I am currently an enrolled student and have nothing but good experiences with Davenport University. From my first semester admissions, to the end of my degree plan, I have had lots of help and advice from my advisors. Class sizes are often only 25-30 people at most and are more often than not, 10-15 people. If you are looking for a university with greater individual attention and curriculum, I would highly recommend this as an option.

I reached out to my academic advisor on Monday to register for classes. He got back to me on Wednesday asking about what courses I would like to take. I responded in less than an hour that any that counts towards my degree. I figured this would make it quick and easy. It's now Friday with no response and no classes registered. Now I don't know if I have to sit out this semester. I'm extremely frustrated at this point. No wonder they have a 28% graduation rate. No student support. I will be looking to transfer to a different school. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I also use the GI bill for extra income as my current job doesn't pay well yet. If I'm not going to school, I have to work a bunch of overtime to make up for it. That's time spent away from my family. At least with school work I can do it at home.

I would never go to this college. I tried to get into the bachelor program and the counselor at Davenport college gave me the roundarounds. I would not recommend this college. I been trying to get my bachelor's degree in business. I already got my associate degree in business. They took slow and no one ever in financial office. Waste of time when no one calls back.

The course work here is sub-par. I have been doing there universal campus (online) and it is pretty terrible. Different instructors have you pay to subscribe to different websites that don't work half the time. Now I am going to get behind on course work because they can't use a suitable website for their texts.

On a positive note, Brian has been an excellent academic advisor. Taking care of everything I need and making sure I succeed.

I plan on transferring here to finish my MBA and so far the institute has been awesome, very helpful and informative. One of a few schools if you meet undergrad GPA requirements (3.4+) for their program you can skip the GMAT and gain entry into their program. Extremely fair cost of attendance @ roughly $570 per credit hour. Look forward to continuing this relationship! Oh and @ Nicole Marriott are you really leaving a poor review because you signed up for college and agreed to pay for it and are being held accountable for your debt? Seriously? If you sign up at any institute, private or public, once you sign the paper you are held accountable for the debt you enter. What is wrong with people these days? Nicole grow up and take responsibility for your actions.

I had a great education here! The school is innovative and cutting edge! But -1 star for their lack of innovative and cutting edge leadership. The C level managers seemed to be completely disconnected to whats really going on.

I would go back for a masters though, most of the professors there are amazing!

Achieved an MBA in finance and loved every minute! Staff had great backgrounds on the classes they were teaching making the time worthwhile! Appreciated the opportunity to have a concentrated MBA which no other school offered in the area when I attended.

Great in seat classes! I can not say the online class are great but, all my inseat classes I love. I have been to both the Grand Rapids and the Holland campus. The full Grand Rapids campus is by far better and has everything you need. It was my best choice transferring here from GVSU. Davenport is all about their students and will help you with everything along the way.
