It's full of very kind people that help each other. At a co-op, you pay your condo off and have what they call a maintenance fee that is paid each month. The Maintenance fee ($535.00) is kinda high for a co-op. Because a co-op is to assist lower income people. There are slightly more rules in a co-op.
If you can pay a condo off at a regular place, the HOA is usually lower. My neighbors down the street pay $350.00 for their HOA. And once a job is done from raising the HOA, it will go back down. Incredible!
But all N all, the co-op is a nice place to live. There's a lot more to say, but also a lot to write. 🙂

Very very nice community for anyone and everyone. Is very quiet the parking space is wonderful and the people that live there are very nice and helpful. They have a swimming pool and if you have children, they would love it as well as as parents! My best friend's mom lives there that's how I know for a fact there's a very nice community! I recommend anyone to go check them out and inquire about moving into that perfectly great and wonderful community!

Colonial Acres offers affordable living for those 55+. It's well located in the relatively quiet community of South Lyon. Convenient to expressway and shopping. Grounds are well kept and maintenance needs are addressed quickly when they arise. Social events are regularly scheduled. Most units are single level with basements; some with walk-outs. Many units have sun-rooms while others have a deck/patio. We love our private court yard area that requires minimal maintenance on our part. Monthly maintenance and property taxes are very affordable.

Great place for senior living. Clean and well kept grounds. The community keeps an eye on each other and has events for residents to keep them involved and active. Great location and easy to get to. I'm love that this community is here!
