Went to this place when me and my family became homeless. They helped me significantly. If there is enough space you get your own room if you have children . And it’s like a regular house. They give you good advice and will try to work with your situation to help you get right. There is rules here but the rules are very understandable and basic . Keep the place clean, be in by 7pm , CLEAN up after yourself…… couple other rules. It can be hard at times because everyone here is going through something . So everyone here is experiencing some type of pain. I was going though the hardest time of my life . No family , nobody , no support. No job and caring for a medically special needs child. Darkest time of my life . I didn’t want to do it.I was so scared I was gonna fail and lose my children because I couldn’t provide them a stable home with no support. This world just don’t work that way . (You got to have some type of support or you won’t make it in this world ) But these people in the shelter really pushed me to keep pushing through. Being there made me feel home ; after having no home and nobody that means everything to me ; These people are no therapist and not trained to be. But if your in a similar situation like me with children these people will really make you feel at home like there is somebody by there side during a dark time. I’m glad I made the choice to go into a shelter I couldn’t get living how I was living . if your going through a dark time in life pray. Everyday and every night . Pray. Remember when nobody is there god is there . I pray whoever is reading my comment gets blessed and i understand how you feel. Your got this your Gonna make it through. Use your resources . If you have no support build support . Make away . You can do it. Any negative review placed on this post is from a person that don’t wanna help themselves and want things handled to them. Or somebody who feels entitled and thinks it’s ok to disrespect people housing you . I was very observant at this shelter of my surroundings and how other people was treated . I never experienced any bias from these people. I’m forever grateful for Jeremy and Teri. They work hard to help the homeless . But the homeless got to help themselves to

These guys are wonderful. They try there best to keep that small town personalized care type of mentality. Please keep in mind, they are housing placement specialist, not mental health care professionals. The mental health care facility is next to family dollar, not at the shelter.

Excellent Shelter
So far so good. They do there best to help as many people as possible l. They pay attention to detail. It's more like a home than a shelter. It has that small town charm and the residents in town are friendly. It is conveniently located within walking distance of several essential resources including grocery shopping and the local library.
