I took out a loan with this bank little less than a year ago. 90 day no payments, setup an auto pay from a checking account that was created. I started putting money into the checking account. First month went by, I kept putting money into the checking account. Looked at the deposit slip, all of the money from the previous month was gone! So I went into the bank, asked where did the money go? It was removed and applied to the auto loan. But, I asked “ok, at least it’s accounted for, but this loan is no payments for the first 90 days, in writing”. So, another 6 months go by, I get a statement, with the break down of money applied to principle, interest and a “fee” category for $240 a month! I asked the bank what this was about, it was for a loan/life insurance program and there was my name signed at the bottom.… Now, I’m really scratching my head, because I am the type to read literally every detail especially on loan documents. AND I record conversations, AND I called my insurance agent directly that day sitting at the desk on her cell and asked if at least I had Gap coverage AND did not agree to the insurance coverage. How my signature name ended up on the document between the electronic signature pad and the document? I don’t know.. intentional or honest mistake of a mouse click? This is enough for small claims court, but I figured I’d just go my separate way.

So, I decided to refinance elsewhere and close my account. However, the more and more small talk I get into and read a few reviews on here. This bank has done the same thing, some instead of $1,700 paid out to this deception it’s in the thousands!

Plus, in the matter of the few months that I banked here. Each time I went into the branch, someone was going irate! On the clerks, the first few times I passed it off as “wow these customers are jacka$$es”. After an about the 3rd or 4th month, I realized that this bank is the root cause of the behaviors of its members. Myself, I’ve never been rude to the staff, I treat everyone with kindness. The staff in return at Advia I’ve always found to be polite and professional.

I refinanced my car through this bank and they asked for the title. I provided the title and the bank lost and didn't warn me that they never received it so now I have to go through the mess of my interest rate skyrocketing and my payment going up almost $100 per month. They've had months to notify me and neglected to do so. All of my addresses and my phone number are all up to date. This is the downside to banking smaller. I don't even want to go back in this branch I'm more than unhappy.

Update: They called and corrected the issue and thank you for that.
They are refusing court ordered documents regarding guardianship and access to accounts. When calling the courts they said our papers have everything we need on them to access his finances. Because of this an elder is going without. Nobody seems to know how to do their job. So now we have to get the court involved again. Its absolutely mind blowing and horrible on their part.

Just became a member at Advia Credit Union. Jenn and Henry did a GREAT job working out a great auto loan for me and hats off to them for the red carpet treatment they gave me. Made it VERY easy to do business with them and I appreciate all the support and help they gave me to work through this transaction. HIGHLY recommend!

I can do their job better than they can. Ive told them multiple times Wells Fargo needed verbal consent and they refused to do so for absolutely no reason. Im always finding myself at another location to get things taken care of.

If you need to call/go to advia, ask for Christina! Probably the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. So sweet and made sure I was on the same exact page same word same letter of everything we were talking about! Absolutely stellar person. She made giving the bank a call an actually enjoyable experience lol! Stay awesome, my friend!
