Things to do for Everyone! Awesome Sledding Hill. Fire pits to stay warm. Lodge available to reserve. Even a stage outdoors. My favorite part is the North Country Trail. The trail goes all the way through Michigan!!

A bounty of great information self-service outside or personal service inside. There are benches wirh scenic overviews, an unsupervised sledding hill, fire rings for winter days or evenings around back, a small bandshell for performances and an entry point to the North Country Trail. Day hike parking all operated by Newaygo County Parks Association.

Great for tourist info!! Nice place for a short hike in the summer. In the winter it would be fine for sledding. Long walk back up though. Recommended

Connie is an excellent help! I wanted to park on National Forest Land and van camp but I am a bit map illiterate so she took the time to help me understand where I was vs where I needed to be even though it was closing time.
