Staff is incredibly polite and kind, machines all work very well, and it is a wonderfully inclusive community. I highly recommend and think the membership price is very fair, especially for a full family. The Classes are great too.

Best ymca in maine in my opinion. Most things are clean and well kept. People mind their business and there are no weirdos like the one in lisbon.

I love the Y!
Taught all my grandchildren to swim in the therapy pool.
But it's the middle of winter and the hot tub had been broken for weeks.
A sign on the door relaying the closer until further notice does little to relieve the aches and pains of a cold Maine winter.

Amazing place many of options for what to do, hot tub, sauna, gym, basketball quart, Olympic sized swimming pool, a smaller heated pool. It’s got the works. It’s cheap to get in and I would recommend it

A good place overall. The therapy pool has been closed for repairs repeatedly within the last 8 month period with no notification to members beyond “There’s a sign on the door” (which there is not) offered by a staff member once one arrives to swim. No email nor timely schedule updates are given regarding these closures. No reparations have been offered to members regardless of how frequently these closures are happening.
On the other hand, the lunch, ride and vegetable van programs help many kids.
Clearly, when frequent closures of crucial, even medically prescribed equipment, only locally available at the Bath YMCA occur, it should be communicated to YMCA members quickly, forthrightly, and with some explanation. The staff is very good. However, fair and ethical adjustments must start at the top.

Love this place. The classes are fantastic. The facility is clean.
The only thing I can say negative is that the aerobics room is way too hot. It is like a dry sauna. 76° sometimes.
