I have neen an instructor here for several years. It is one of the largest flying clubs in the Bay Area. Good selection of newer Cessna and Cirrus aircraft, as well as others. Safety oriented (some rules and paperwork), and club has own maintenance crew which takes care of the majority of the fleet. Many career instructors, with lots of experience, but you pay Palo Alto prices. Airplane cost per hour is pretty good for the area. The offices are clean and lots of meeting rooms and simulators, friendly front desk staff.

Awesome flight school and flying club. One of the oldest and biggest clubs in the bay area. They have very reasonable prices on a huge variety of aircraft, as well as many different instructors. They have one of the best safety records as well, mostly likely because of their rigorous phase check policies and tests required for all pilots.

Excellent flying school with a modern fleet of over 50 aircraft of multiple types split between Palo Alto and San Carlos airports and an extensive roster of flight instructors to provide any training you may require. The clubhouses at both airports have flight simulators and all the amenities an aspiring or active pilot may require.

Large and well-organized flying club in the Bay Area. Planes are well-maintained with most maintenance done in-house. Good safety culture and reasonable rules about cross-country trips, etc. Other members are safe and respectful.

School with class, very friendly staff and Garfield cat at the front desk. If you are looking for flying lessons: I recommend Kostas flight instructor, very professional and friendly man. I will definitely be back 😊
