I’ve visited this church many times over the last 30 years. The people and staff are friendly, the Bible is clearly taught, and the church has excellent programs for all ages from babies up.

Plus it has a diverse congregation of people who love Jesus and each other.

What’s not to like.

I found this church scrolling through maps and decided to watch the worship and sermons online. Was of 4 other options I was looking into. Loved the praise and worship. Loved the teachings after watching their mini-series “Built Strong”. Was so excited to witness all the things I loved online, in person. Sad morning to leave this church in tears today. We go to worship in the church to receive Gods word and be filled with His Grace, Love, and Mercy. To be surrounded by others that also have a Love for Jesus. To take rest from the judgment of this world. I want to hear the words from a Pastor that preaches to all of Gods children, not only to those whom he judges deemed worthy to receive. When one of Gods children brings their personal Bible and chooses to take notes, does not by any means say that person is perfect. Says they are trying to receive all they can on a Sunday morning and remember it so they can more easily live a righteous life all the time, as God is good…Not just on Sundays. We all have our struggles and have lived in sin and have been sinned upon. Can’t preach love and forgiveness when you judge a perfectly imperfect person trying to flourish in Gods House. Journey proceeds to find a church family that will Love me, for me.

Enjoyed Sunday service, our pastor's friend Mel was our guest pastor, we enjoyed him very much, nice man, funny and engaging, had a brief convo with him after service. Music was lovely, the female leading the music program this Sunday was very good, beautiful voice!

I love this Church. The Women's Bible study on Wednesdays is amazing if you're looking to build relationships and a deeper understanding of the bible. The 10am service has 2 options of worship. The main service has a full band and larger congregation and a small service with a more mellow unplugged worship service. The sermons have always been biblically sound. They usually work through a topic not a book of the bible.

My family attended here years ago & loved it. We then relocated to the Huntington Beach area and the search began for a new church home.

Unfortunately nothing could hold a candle to Parkcrest. After searching for many years, We ended up back at Parkcrest Christian Church.

There is not a church that can come close to this churches excellent music, sermons and people. This is just a great place!!

Have been going to this church for 27 years now. It's going through some changes at the moment and I know it's for the best. The children's ministry was lacking for the last 13 years with some lazy leadership but things are being taken care of.
The church is full of people who are friendly and embrace each other which is the main reason I've stayed here and want to raise my kids at the same church I've been going to since 3 years old.

I’ve been coming here for a long time now , first and foremost I like the location, it is by the park, they have morning coffee, they have baby sitting option (before covid) , just the right size(I am not fond of the too big church) for me . They have a lot of mission to reach out too communities (you could get involved if you choose to), they pick the right pastors, they know how to convey the biblical message into the modern practical time (the service is just the right mix , they inject some clean humor, not yelling, and doesn’t put you to sleep, not political). Also they help out a lot in City of Long Beach.
